Specialist (2Yr)

The Administrative Office Specialist Career Certificate (CC) program prepares you for an office occupation.


  • Students will learn the fundamental skills necessary to work in an office such as keyboarding, office equipment, and computer applications

  • Faculty have extensive experience and one instructor is a veteran of the United States Air Force and was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom

  • Students have interned in offices at SFSC and at local businesses within Highlands County

Graduates work in the following positions:

    • Typist or Word Processor

    • Payroll Clerk or Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk

    • Receptionist

    • File Clerk or General Office Clerk

    • Secretary or Administrative Assistant
