CTE Summer Course Info

HCI/SFSC SUMMER CLASS SCHEDULE 2021


Please find your CTE Program below to identify your summer course schedule. Please pay close attention as each program is different. Even though the SFSC Spring semester will end on May 10th, all students are required to attend the full day for the remainder of the Highlands County school year.



Administrative Office Specialist


Students will not have a summer program. Spring college courses will end on May 10th, but students will still be required to attend the entire school day until the end of the Highlands County School District Calendar.

Advanced Manufacturing and Production Technology


Students will complete their program during the summer but their hours will be 8:00-11:00 from 5/12-5/27. Starting 6/1-6/18 classes will be from 8-3 pm with an hour break for lunch. Students will not have class on Fridays, but will have online assignments to complete.

Automotive Collision Technician


Students will have classes from 8-11:45 or 12:15-4:00 Monday through Thursday beginning 5/12 and ending 7/8 (there will be flexibility in the 4:00 time for those that do not drive). There will not be any class on Fridays.

Automotive Service Technician


Students will have classes from 8-11:45 or 12:15-4:00 Monday through Thursday beginning 5/12 and ending 7/8 (there will be flexibility in the 4:00 time for those that do not drive). There will not be any class on Fridays.

Electrical Lineworker


Students will not have a summer program. Spring college courses will end on May 10th, but students will still be required to attend the entire school day until the end of the Highlands County School District Calendar.


Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC/R)


Students will have classes from 8-11:45 Monday through Thursday beginning 5/12 and ending 7/8. There will not be any class on Fridays.

Medical Administrative Specialist


Students will not have a summer program. Spring college courses will end on May 10th, but students will still be required to attend the entire school day until the end of the Highlands County School District Calendar.

Medical Assisting


Students will not have any courses, but seniors will need to talk with your instructor about the Phlebotomy requirements. Students will still be required to attend the entire school day until the end of the Highlands County School District Calendar.

Professional Culinary Arts and Hospitality


Students will continue their same meeting times in the afternoons from 5/12-6/23. Culinary courses will meet on Fridays.

Public Safety Telecommunications


Students will not have a summer program. Spring college courses will end on May 10th, but students will still be required to attend the entire school day until the end of the Highlands County School District Calendar.
