Hispanic Heritage Week September 30 - October 4 Monday: Jersey Day Wear your favorite Hispanic Player Jersey or from that Team. Tuesday: Quinceañera Day Wear your best quince outfit. Show that drip! You can even wear a Tiara or your Cowboy hat. Wednesday: “Si se puede” Day Dress up as your future professional self or rep your dream college Thursday: Latin Heritage Day Wear traditional clothes from a Hispanic country, the flag, or the colors! Friday: Red or White Day Wear red or white to show unity in our multicultural community!

Please read for information regarding Friday night's first home football game. Home fans may park in the parking lot on Canfield St until the lot is full. Visiting fans may park in the parking lot on Marshall Ave until the lot is full. Due to construction near our stadium, there is limited parking in the home parking lot. Overflow parking on Main St will open when other lots are full. Parking is $5 and admission is $6. Tickets can be purchased at the gate with cash or ahead of time on Go Fan using the QR code. Go Fan does charge a $1 convenience fee per ticket. Please note that there are no backpacks or large bags/purses allowed at the stadium. Students in elementary and middle school wanting to attend the game will not be allowed in without their parent. There is no re-entry to the stadium once you exit. There are no animals allowed at the stadium. We can't wait to see you there! Bring your Red Devil Spirit!

Please note that there has been a change to the homecoming date for APHS. The parade will be held on Thursday, October 10th. The game will be held on Friday, October 11th. The homecoming dance for students will now be held on Saturday, October 12th.

There will be a Highlands County College and Trades Fair on Thursday, August 29th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Smith Center at Sebring High School. It is open to all middle school and high school aged students. Admissions representatives from colleges all across Florida will be onside to provide information about their colleges and answer questions for students and parents. This is a free event.

We had an amazing first day of school at Avon Park High School. Parents, all students should have received a red folder with documents for your review and documents you will need to sign and send back to school. Some documents either need to be notarized or signed in front of a school board employee. There will be staff available in the front office to assist with this. Also, students will need to pay the $10 Chromebook usage fee. You can pay online on our website if you would like.

Don't forget that APH is hosting Open House today from 5pm - 7pm. Students can pick up their schedules, meet their teachers, and learn about some of our clubs and sports on campus. See you then!
