LPH Homecoming starts at 8:00 pm, Saturday,09/28/24 No admittance after 9:00 pm. Students cannot leave before 10:00 pm without parent/guardian notification/permission when contacted by LPH staff. No shoes in the gym; wear your craziest socks. Dresses will be no shorter than 4 inches above the knee. Students are allowed to wear dark dress jeans. Students must wear a collared shirt. All pants must be worn at the natural waistline at all times. Students must attend school all day on Friday or provide a doctor’s note before 4:00 pm Friday to attend the dance. All school rules will apply during the event. The dance ends at 11:00 pm. Please have transportation arranged and at the school ready for pickup at that time.

Game On! On Friday, 09/27/24, there will be a 5AB Battle of the Classes to determine which grade level has the MOST LPH School Spirit. We will ALL wear GREEN to show our LPH Spirit, but only one grade will be named the victor. Freshmen Sophomores Juniors Seniors

We are happy to return to school tomorrow, Friday, September 27th. We wanted to send a few important reminders to help ensure that all of our Dragons who purchased tickets are able to participate in the Homecoming Dance on Saturday. We will share a detailed list of dance-specific reminders on Friday.

09/26/24 Lake Placid High Special Announcement School will resume on Friday, September 27th Students planning to attend the dance on Saturday must be in attendance for all classes on Friday. A doctor's note must be provided before the office closes on Friday at 4:00 pm for any classes missed that day. The Homecoming parade, pep rally, and football game will take place on Friday, October 4th. Show your Dragon Spirit by wearing Green!

09/25/24 Lake Placid High Special Announcement Homecoming Update Due to Tru Prep Academy not wanting to travel because of weather concerns, the Homecoming Football Game for Friday, September 27th is canceled. The Homecoming Dance will still be held on Saturday, September, 28th as planned. The parade and pep rally will be rescheduled to Friday, October 4th. The Homecoming Court will be announced that evening, Friday, October 4th, at halftime of the new Homecoming Game against Frostproof. The game will start at 7:30 pm as originally planned.
